1. GENERAL

The data controller is: KRISTINA DE VENTUS – DANCER AND EDUCATOR (Rupa 38a, 4000 Kranj, Slovenia), hereinafter referred to as HBI. Any questions regarding privacy and the processing of personal data can be addressed to [email protected].

HBI is committed to protecting the confidentiality of personal data and the privacy of users of the website. HBI will use the collected personal data exclusively for the purpose of implementing and promoting the programs and workshops it offers.

2. USE OF PERSONAL DATA

For the purpose of implementing and promoting programs and workshops, HBI collects, manages, processes, and stores the following user’s personal data:

  • First and last name
  • Company or legal entity name (if the user is a legal entity)
  • Tax number of the legal entity (if the user is a legal entity)
  • Email address (username)
  • Contact phone number
  • Country of residence
  • Other data that the user voluntarily enters forms on the website.

HBI is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the data entered by users. IP addresses from which users access the website are also collected for security and traceability purposes.

About cookies

Cookies are not something new; all website visitors already have many cookies stored on their computers, tablets, and mobile phones from various websites. What is new is that with the new legislation (ZEKom-1), there are changes regarding informing or obtaining consent from visitors for their use.

They are small text files that most websites store on devices that users use to access the Internet to recognize individual devices that users have used to access. Their storage is under the control of the browser that the user has – the user can limit or disable the storage of cookies if desired. Cookies are not harmful and are always time limited.

Why are cookies necessary?
They are essential for providing user-friendly online services. Interaction between a website user and the website is faster and more straightforward with the help of cookies. They help the website remember individual preferences and experiences, saving time, and making browsing more efficient and friendly.

4. STATEMENT ON THE PROTECTION OF CONFIDENTIALITY OF PERSONAL DATA AND USER PRIVACY

In accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, the controller is committed to safeguarding the personal data of users of the website. The controller will not disclose personal or other user data to a third party or allow a third party to access the personal or other data of the user without the explicit permission of the user, unless required by government authorities, mandated by law, or in good faith that such action is necessary for proceedings before courts or other state authorities and for the protection and realization of the legitimate interests of the controller.

All personal and other data provided by users when registering for programs and workshops will be protected in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data. The controller will keep personal data of users in the collection of personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which the personal data is collected and maintained or as required for compliance with applicable laws.

5. IMPLEMENTATION OF PRIVACY POLICY

The HBI website, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, regulates the protection of personal data with the Personal Data Protection Policy.

All regularly or part-time employed persons at the controller who have access to personal and other user data are familiar with the duty to protect personal and other data and are obliged to adhere to these provisions on the protection of confidentiality of personal data and user privacy on the website. The duty to protect personal and other data is valid indefinitely, even after the termination of the relationship with the controller.

6. RIGHT TO INFORMATION

The user has the right to free information about their personal data that we possess, as well as the right to delete this data. If you have questions regarding the deletion, processing, or use of your data, please contact  [email protected] or send a request by mail.

Notifications: Upon subscribing to newsletters, your name, phone number, and email address will be used for promotional purposes with your permission until you unsubscribe from the notifications. Only sign up for notifications if, during registration or newsletter subscription, a specific checkbox is ticked, allowing you to submit the online form.

In the case of entering an email address on Facebook or in a form on the website hbi.si, we will store your email address for the purpose of informing you about matters related to programs and workshops. You can unsubscribe from the notification recipient database at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email messages.

I am aware that all the above requests related to the exercise of rights regarding personal data can be addressed to the controller in writing, namely at the email address  [email protected].

I am aware that, for the purpose of reliable identification when exercising rights regarding personal data, the controller may request additional information from me.

I am aware that the controller must respond to my request, in which I assert my rights regarding the above-mentioned personal data, without undue delay and no later than one month from the receipt of the request.
